Selected for the second round of Knowledge Region by the Sea!
We are proud to announce that, with ECHO Urban Design, we are through to round 2 of the open call Knowledge Region by the Sea.
This regional cooperation of the municipalities of Delft, The Hague, Leiden and Zoetermeer challenges us to delve into the long-term spatial issues in the region. The central question is what it will take to strengthen and make the entire region sustainable from the network of knowledge institutes.
We do not limit ourselves to the knowledge institutes present, but place knowledge in a broader perspective. How are the unique location on the coast and the landscapes of the North Sea strengthening the region? What is the future of our cities, landscapes, work locations and infrastructure? And how can knowledge within the region be a stronger condition for developing broad prosperity?
Together with spatial economists from Rebel Group and a group of experts from TU Delft, we will zoom in on various parts of the Knowledge Region in the follow-up phase and uncover the issues.
