We look back with great pleasure on the launch of Reconnecting Cities, People, and Nature – Exercises in Urban Design by Robbert Jan van der Veen and Víctor Muñoz Sanz.

It was an inspiring evening filled with conversations about how social and ecological values can guide innovative approaches to urban design. The discussion drew on the stories, visions, and practical design exercises presented in the book.

Moderated by Nora Prins, the evening featured perspectives and reflections from Prof. Dr. Steffen Nijhuis (Department of Urbanism, TU Delft), Esmee Bais (ECHO Urban Design), and Feline Kaaij (Polis). Their contributions sparked an engaging conversation with the audience about the socio-ecological city of the future.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this valuable gathering.

Hybrid events will follow at TU Delft in September and October. We will share more information here soon.
