From initial concept to detailed design! In recent years, ECHO Urban Design, together with Synchroon, has taken the initiative to develop the Living in Woud area in Zevenhuizen. This exciting and distinctive village-edge location, situated between sports clubs, landscape features, nurseries and an agricultural ribbon development, offers the potential for a unique residential area where sports, physical activity, sustainable living and community life come together.
Together with Architectuur Maken, we further developed the plan for 212 sustainable homes, featuring a mix of different typologies inspired by the surrounding area and accessed via the landscaped park. The first phase of the development is Woud, comprising 29 timber-built homes.
