Excursion to the Rhine–Ruhr Region!
With the entire ECHO team, we headed to the Rhine–Ruhr region — a place where urban transformation becomes tangible.
We visited, among others, the MedienHafen in Düsseldorf, where former industrial areas have made way for a dynamic mix of media, housing, and hospitality, as well as the iconic Zollverein and Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, where past and future meet.
An excursion full of inspiration on how adaptive reuse, infrastructure, and public space together shape a new urban identity. Of course, with plenty of fun along the way — karaoke nights and great dinners — it turned into another very successful international team excursion.
