ECHO expands its leadership team with Nora Prins and Floor Marree
ECHO has expanded its management team with Nora Prins and Floor Marree. Together with Koen de Boo and Robbert Jan van der Veen, they now form the firm’s management team.
With this expansion, ECHO strengthens the management of both its design studio and its advisory practice for area development. Within the leadership team, Floor Marree and Robbert Jan van der Veen will primarily focus on the further development of ECHO Urban Design. Together with their team, they work on urban design challenges in which social value, ecology, and human-centered architecture form the foundation for inspiring city-making.
Nora Prins and Koen de Boo will focus on ECHO Urban Management, which specializes in planning and strategic process management in area development. With a strong track record in structuring planning processes, connecting stakeholders, and developing broadly supported spatial visions, they collaborate with clients to build effective strategies for the evolving city. According to Koen de Boo, the new leadership structure aligns well with the growing complexity of urban challenges in the Netherlands, where both design quality and process management increasingly demand full attention. “With this strategic expansion, we are strengthening our role in both spatial design and the strategic planning that precedes it. This enables us to optimally support our clients throughout the process, while working together on strong, widely supported area developments,” said De Boo.
