Unbounded Wandering

The city cannot be contained within boundaries. In research by design we must constantly be boundless and free.
By wandering the streets and daring to let our thoughts and creativity go, we can write and draw them down. A spider-like impact map can be created that carries both analysis and design ideas.
It is important here to have the courage to make value judgements. On a landscape, urban and architectural level. The program and the actual use of the site, in the public, collective and private domain, are supportive in this regard. A site visit, observations and conversations on the street are
important impressions here. If this study is done carefully, the analytical vision map can be abstracted into overarching identities. These can be developed in a spatial framework that provides guidance in the further urban design process.
